sobre mí / ABOUT ME
Gustavo Carrasco, biólogo de formación y fotógrafo empírico apasionado por documentar la vida silvestre y las historias de las comunidades nativas de la Amazonía.
Me capacité en cinematografía, dirección de cine y biodiversidad en Perú y Colombia. Trabajé proyectos fotográficos y audiovisuales con la NASA, WWF, WCS, UNICEF y USAID enfocados en los pueblos originarios Shipibo-conibo, Asháninka, Ashéninka, Ikitu, Bora y Kukamas, la biodiversidad y las actividades ilícitas de la selva peruana.
Gustavo Carrasco, biologist and empirical photographer passionate for documenting wildlife and the stories of native communities in the Amazon.
I trained in cinematography, filmmaking and biodiversity in Peru and Colombia. I worked on photographic and audiovisual projects with the NASA, WWF, WCS, UNICEF and USAID focused on Shipibo-Conibo, Asháninka, Ashéninka, Ikitu, Bora and Kukama native peoples, biodiversity and illegal activities in the Peruvian rainforest.
